Cedar is a Burlington based Funk Fusion band. Heavy influences of jazz, rock, groove-heavy funk, and R&B can be heard in their dynamic set list containing instrumental versions of familiar (and unfamiliar) songs as well as original arrangements. Galloping, transcendent bass-lines and cascading, yet driven melodies matched with tight band chemistry allow improvising to take over and flow state to be achieved.
